We're looking for a passionate Clinical Educator & Infection Prevention Coordinator to help us with planning, developing, and coordinating facility team members, contractors, volunteers, education, and development programs. Responsibilities include:
- Oversees the facility infection control program. Ensures facility compliance with all regulatory requirements related to education, quality improvement and infection control.
- Coordinates in-service activities and programs with all departments, contractors, volunteers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Develops and directs orientation program for nursing personnel in accordance with nursing department policies and procedures and other departments as assigned.
- Develops and maintains attendance records, reports, and reference materials pertinent to all educational programs.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Registered Nurse with the State of Hawaii Board of Nursing.
- Two years of experience in clinical staff development in long-term care preferred.
- Ability to learn the use of quality improvement methods and materials required.
