· Paid initial and ongoing training which includes- Relias, CPR/First Aid, QMAP, NVCPI, Person Centered and Agency specific training.
· Paid Holidays
This position provides services to at-risk adults. This person supports adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in accessing a wide variety of community activities, focusing on the interests and preferences of the individuals receiving services including work and learning opportunities.
We foster an environment of inclusivity and candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to transport clients in your vehicle or company vehicles.
Employee Responsibilities:
· Promoting positive social interactions.
· Supporting individuals in the community during the day
· Teaching skills to expand a person’s independence.
· Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
· Administering medications.
· Supporting individuals with hygiene.
· Providing transportation.
· Must be 18 or older.
· Documenting program data at each shift.
· Due to the nature of the work performed this position works with an at-risk population, we do require candidates to pass multiple background check which include: criminal background check, Colorado Adult Protective Services Central Registry, Criminal Background Check, clean MVR, Federal Bureau of Investigation Background Check etc.
· Able to perform the physical demands of the position may include but are not limited to:
· Physically intervening with clients that pose a safety threat to themselves or others utilizing NVCI-approved techniques,
· Maintaining calm and professionally intervening with clients during escalated/crisis moments.
Ohana Supportive Services is excited to offer a hiring bonus. $250 after 30 days of employment and $250 after six months. The first half of the award amount will be received on the first available pay cycle after 30 days of employment and the second installment will be received upon the next available pay cycle after the candidate's 6-month anniversary if candidate remains employed.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
