Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately using the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices are followed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers seated at the bar
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol service and safety protocols
Skills:
- Food handling: Knowledge of safe food handling practices to ensure the quality and safety of beverages served
- Hospitality: Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, providing excellent service with a friendly demeanor
- Catering: Experience in catering events or functions, ensuring timely delivery of beverages to guests
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including order taking, table service, and general restaurant etiquette
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers, address inquiries or concerns, and provide exceptional service
- Retail math: Basic understanding of retail math concepts for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math calculations for measuring ingredients, calculating bills, and making change accurately
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Cash register: Experience operating a cash register and processing transactions efficiently and accurately
