Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using OpenTable or similar systems, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet culinary standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests.
- Uphold food safety regulations throughout the service process.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server role within a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation protocols.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
