What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at OHC-Siloam Springs Senior Center?
The Custodian provides cleaning and maintenance services for the senior center.
Hours:
M-Th 11am-3:00pm
Fri 10am-2pm
Duties and Responsibilities
Follow approved cleaning schedule for specific maintenance duties to be performed daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, and quarterly.
Notify Center Director of needed repairs to the building or equipment.
Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and notify Food Services Manager of needed supplies in a timely manner. Supplies must be organized and rotated properly.
Assist in outside maintenance as necessary and/or directed by Center Director.
Maintain safety, health, and fire prevention standards to ensure center is in compliance.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy practices at all times.
Must be present and on time for work.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to relate well with the senior population.
