Overhead Door Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and repair of garage doors, along with the ability to work effectively in various construction environments. This role requires hands-on experience with power tools and the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Garage Door Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all installations and repairs meet safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete installations/service efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites.
• Lift heavy materials and equipment as needed during installations/service.

Qualifications

• Experience in garage door installation/service or related construction fields preferred but not required. Pay will be determined based on experience.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic electrical knowledge related to garage door systems is desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 55 per week
