What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician position at Ohel Children's Home and Family Services?
Ohel's Early Childhood Mental Health Program is seeking a warm, empathic, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or LCAT with excellent communication skills to provide mental health services to children under five and to their caregivers. Clinician will provide services at OHEL's Early Childhood Treatment Center in Far Rockaway. Clinician will be working with children to deliver evidence-based individual, group and dyadic family-centered treatment and engage parents / caregiver in treatment. Appropriate candidate must have knowledge of early childhood social-emotional development, experience in providing treatment to young children and / or experience working with young children in an educational setting. Supervision is provided weekly which guides staff to develop competencies and new skills. Many opportunities for professional development are offered including advanced training that is provided in multiple evidence-based practice models. Excellent supervision is provided in a growth-oriented, collaborative setting. This position can be filled as full or part time and is based in Far Rockaway.
