Full time position available for high energy professional to be responsible for providing comprehensive employment related services to adults with a serious and persistent mental illness who reside in Ohel’s Supported Housing Program. Candidate will develop job opportunities and support individuals on successful transitioning into the employment world. Responsibilities include participant assessment, resume writing and teaching interviewing skills. Employment Specialist will attend job fairs and use other community resources to create opportunities for the participant, as well as provide entitlements and benefits training and support. Candidate should be a strong communicator and have excellent writing and computer skills. Position requires a BA in mental health, career development, marketing or related field. Experience working with mental health population a plus. This full time position is located in Brooklyn.
