What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grants Associate position at Ohel Children's Home and Family Services?
Ohel is seeking a Grants Associate to support the team responsible for Government, Capital, and Foundation grants and contracts. Responsibilities include identifying and coordinating required elements of grant proposals and reports; working collegially with the Supervisor and various department colleagues within Ohel to ensure deliverables are completed and submitted in a timely manner; and project and file management. This individual will work closely with, and report to, Ohel’s Senior Grants Manager.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a position with similar duties
- Experience working in the non-profit sector; knowledge of government systems and processes a plus

- High standards of accountability, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Familiarity or proficiency with donor databases (CRMs)
- Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively independently and in diverse group/team settings
This full-time position is based in Brooklyn and has a competitive salary and benefits.
