What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Consultant Supervisor position at Ohel Children's Home and Family Services?
Seeking dedicated mental health professionals to join Ohel's Early Childhood Mental Health team. The program intends to promote the wellness of young children, from birth to 5 years of age, by addressing the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral aspects of their development, preparing young children to thrive in school and beyond.
As a member of the Early Childhood Mental Health team (ECMH), ECMH Consultant Supervisor will have both consultation responsibilities as well as supervisory responsibilities. In addition to providing consultation at schools, medical practices and family centers in Brownsville, Brooklyn, this supervisor will identify and build partnerships with school sites in Brownsville, Brooklyn and provide supervision for two consultants.
Master’s level clinician with MSW, MHC, CAT degree and New York State license required; Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred. 5 years of experience working as a mental health consultant as well as with young children and families is required. Excellent salary, training, and supervision are provided in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment. This full-time position is based in Brooklyn.
Salary: $75,000 with $5,000 salary differential for bilingual candidate.
