Ohel is seeking a well organized Operations Manager to work in our Residential and Community Housing programs. The Operations Manager will initiate as well as receive service requests from department managers, submitting to ticketing system and will include detailed, actionable descriptions of the work required. Appropriate Candidate will engage with trade vendors on site to show where work is to be done and sign off on work orders at completion. Candidate will Interface with Facilities Manager as necessary to document, clarify and formulate work requests. Candidate must be familiar with building maintenance and trades including housekeeping, sanitation, exterminating, floor maintenance, appliances, plumbing, electrical, locksmithing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, sprinkler and fire alarm systems, and yard maintenance. Must have the ability to recognize and describe excessive wear, defects, and failures requiring corrective action. Candidate must have superior communication and computer skills and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Supervisory experience and at least 3 years of relevant construction and project management experience required. Familiarity with federal and state regulations helpful. Clean NY or NJ driver license required. This full time position is based in Brooklyn and Queens and has on call responsibility. Position includes a competitive salary and benefits package.
