What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services position at OHI?
The Director of Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services shall have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study applicable to the provision of human or social services, and at least four (4) years of relevant experience in the provision of IDD/autism services. The Director must have six years’ combined experience in leadership and supervision; fiscal management; budgeting and applying funding, licensing, and accreditation regulations; and in the planning process.
The Director shall be a member of the OHI Leadership Team and report to the President & CEO of OHI. The Director shall:
1. Oversee supports and services provided to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the IDD department.
2. Oversee the licensing of all homes and services, and compliance with rules, regulations, and laws regarding service delivery.
3. Lead the expansion and development of new services.
4. Provide clinical services collaboration and consultation.
5. Ensure fiscal management and oversight.
6. Oversee and ensure quality supports and services are delivered.
