Under general supervision of the Business Intelligence (BI) Manager receives direction in order to design & perform systems analysis, recommend application solutions &/or tests & corrects programs as it relates to testing & implementation & assists with documentation.
- Reading, writing, extracting & reporting from data sources (e.g. databases, transaction files, & real time data streams) using software development tools (e.g. Python, SQL, Tableau, Cognos).
- Working with business personnel to identify & document system software requirements & assists with development, implementation & monitoring IT quality assurance standards & testing.
- Defining problems & developing potential solutions for team engaged in analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, integration, scheduling, troubleshooting, support, & maintenance of custom BI programs, scripts, & jobs (e.g. reporting, dashboards, process automation, data query, exchange, interface, & transformation) in support of BI tasks & activities (e.g. visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, simulation, inference).

- 48 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation including 12 mos. work experience in Business Intelligence as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
- Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems AND 30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation including 12 mos. work experience in Business Intelligence as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems AND 24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation including 12 mos. work experience in Business Intelligence as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
