JOB SUMMARY :
At Ohio CAT, we are looking to add to our team! As an Ohio CAT Lead Technician you will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild heavy equipment, engines, drive-train components, and electrical and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing and maintaining, overhauling, and rebuilding engines and / or heavy equipment components, such as torque convertors, final drives, undercarriage, hydraulic pumps, and much more. In a Lead Technician position at Ohio CAT, you will have the satisfaction of keeping our customers working, and contributing to building the world around you!
REQUIREMENTS :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College and / or continued education in a technical field are a plus.
- 5 years of experience related to construction or power equipment / diesel engine service, rebuild and repair is required.
- General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude or experience with construction or power equipment required, and strong DC electrical and machine electronic system knowledge is crucial.
- Must have the ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures as necessary to complete repairs and manufacturers' updates, as required.
