What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Banker position at Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union?
Job Summary: The Personal Banker is the financial liaison to every member entering the branch and is focused on improving our member financial wellness. The Personal Banker works closely with members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products to help our members make or save money.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Works with members to identify credit union products and services to meet the member’s needs
Assist members with opening new accounts, explaining credit union products and services, and resolving member concerns
Source new lending opportunities, ensuring a continuously full loan pipeline, meeting and exceeding lending goals
Participates in Branch ‘call night’ and other community events with the intent of growing membership and educating members on the credit union’s products and services
Operate a Teller window processing member transactions as needed
Adhere to regulatory and legal compliance within the branch
Present a professional appearance as you are the face of the Credit Union
Job Requirements:
College degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year cash handling experience
2 years of sales and customer service experience required
Active listening and superb customer service skills
Positive energy and enthusiastic disposition required
Successful problem solver to resolve member’s inquiries
Ability to work branch hours, which includes a half day on Saturday
If selected, candidates must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the Nationwide
Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
Physical Requirements/Work Environment: May lift up to 10 lbs.; Office work- must be able to use a PC and phone; hearing and site are required to perform this job; may need to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
