Position Type: Full-Time, Hybrid - Staff residing within the state of Ohio will be expected to attend meetings and events as required by their position or requested by their supervisor. These meetings may be held anywhere in Ohio, typically in Columbus.

Role Overview:
The Alliance is contracted by The Ohio Department of Children and Youth to identify and recruit the type of resource (kinship and foster care), and adoptive families needed regionally and across the state to meet the needs of children in public children service agency and Title IV-E court custody. This program is one of our state’s key strategies to address the statewide shortage of available foster parents and families willing to adopt children from foster care. You will collaborate with a passionate and strategic team to execute impactful campaigns, direct compelling content, and connect with audiences through digital, traditional, and non-traditional media. This role uses data to drive strategic planning and outreach efforts. Program Coordinator will use data storytelling to craft regular reports and communicate program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Foster Home Recruitment team, this individual will fulfill the following responsibilities:
Marketing and Spreading Awareness 25%
- Utilize data-backed target audiences in making marketing decisions
- Manage advertising types, placements, and timelines
- Accurately allocate budget towards a variety of traditional, digital, and social media advertising (TV, billboards, Meta, theatres, Google, etc.)
Data Reporting and Strategy 25%
- Maintain and identify data to track to best make strategic decisions
- Create detailed, accurate reports showcasing program outcomes
- Utilize data to make decisions, plans, and strategies to best drive program success
- Communicate program to external partners including Foster Care and Adoption Agencies and other recruitment entities
Content Development 25%
- Advise partners and make decisions regarding content creation and planning
- Review and provide feedback on blogs, social media, and other content created by marketing firm
- Ensure advertising (photos, videos) accurately represents the populations being served
- Coordinate execution of large-scale video and photography projects
Relationship Management 25%
- Manage relationships with key vendors – including marketing firm, consultants, and advertisers
- Cultivate relationships with program partners – including foster care and adoption agencies, other recruitment entities, and state partners
- Coordinate and execute regular training opportunities for foster care and adoption agencies
- Accurately maintain program budget and invoicing to ensure funds are efficiently allocated and utilized
Upon hire, this position will be primarily focused on program coordination for the Foster Home Recruitment program. In addition, this position may also fill program coordination needs for the growing portfolio of programs that advance the mission of the Ohio Children's Alliance.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in marketing, advertising, or content creation
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Proven self-starter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include public speaking
- High detail orientation and accuracy
- Previous experience managing budgets highly preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 products (Outlook, Word and Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams); ability to quickly gain proficiency using other software and web-based services as needed
- Prior or lived experience in or working with foster care preferred, but not required
