In coordination with the Pharmacy Director, oversee, coordinate, and control the operation of the Pharmacy department. Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards. Directs/controls purchases and maintains inventory of all pharmaceuticals and related substances/supplies throughout the organization. Participates in departmental planning, revenue analysis, budgeting, education, and human resource management activities as needed. May be requested to be member of QI team. Frequently accesses email to stay up to date on information within the organization and provides a way of communication between staff members. Performs all procedures according to established policies and procedures of OCH and adheres to legal compliance policies and other regulatory issues
Qualifications
Kentucky Board of Pharmacy licensure, years’ experience in healthcare preferably hospital setting.
