Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Operations
Job Summary:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise and support Tire Collection Supervisor, Recycling Center Lead, Community Engagement Specialist, Community Relations Coordinator, and subsequent staff
- Ensure Tire Collection Supervisor is prepared and compliant with training Tire Collection staff on best practices and program SOPs
- Maintain tire collection shift schedule pursuant to WVDEP PPOD grant funding
- Ensure Recycling Center Lead is prepared and compliant with training Recycling Center staff on best practices and program SOPs
- Maintain recycling center shift schedule
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and fulfill pickups/hauling for all community outreach and special events
- Supervise logistics needs of recycling center and all offsite initiatives
- Oversee compliance with pre and post-safety checks on vehicles
- Aggregate recycling center bulk data
- Track tonnage of raw materials collected
- Collaborate with Director of Operations to provide raw material data for grant reporting
- Manage groundskeeping needs
- Hold vehicle and equipment safety trainings as needed
- Delegate needs of the recycling center to program’s staff as needed
- Maintain communication with statewide contractor responsible for hauling and replacing tire collection trailer
- Track usage data from tire collections
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials collected to processing facilities
- Support program and grant requirements as needed
- Other duties as directed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with various hauling equipment required
- Experience with common maintenance tasks and familiarity with general hand/power tools required
- Demonstrated familiarity with safely operating trucks, trailers, and various small engines strongly preferred
- Familiarity with meeting grant reporting and compliance requirements strongly preferred
- Ability to act as a representative of OCSWA and promote mission statement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds at a time
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to perform duties during frequent and extended periods of outside work, subject to all weather conditions and extremes
- Ability to work with youth (required)
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
