Characteristics of a strong candidate
Strong interest in nonpartisan public service;
Ability to accurately type and enter data, proofread typed material, recognize errors and make corrections, and to organize materials as directed;
Flexibility to recognize and respond to changing priorities, including managing rush assignments;
Customer service orientation, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a group setting, and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
Willingness to acquire knowledge of LSC's resolution services and agency-specific practices and procedures (developed after employment).
Salary and benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent;
Proficiency with word processing, particularly with Microsoft Word, including rapid and accurate typing skills;
Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading skills;
Problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work overtime, scheduled and unscheduled, occasionally on short notice;
Strong attendance record;
Willingness to limit public political activity to not give any appearance of bias in work (due to the agency's nonpartisan status).
