What You'll Do
Plans, directs, coordinates and conducts complex investigations of violations of the Ohio Securities Act & related white-collar crimes.
Serves in fiduciary relationship as a management level attorney within division of securities; maintains confidential relationship with Commissioner.
Performs research & analysis of legal issues and makes recommendations for actions to be pursued in enforcement regulatory administration.
Responsible for hearing preparation & witness testimony (e.g., prepares questions & conducts hearings pursuant to O.R.C. 1707.23 & sworn statements under oath, prepares exhibits for use at trial or any type of dispute resolution, including settlement negotiations, and testifies at hearings and trials.
Works with the Ohio Attorney General Executive Agencies, as well as county, state and federal prosecutors to prepare for prosecution and litigation of administrative, civil and criminal matters.
Collaborates with other law enforcement agencies & prosecutors on joint investigations with multi-jurisdictional impact.
