The Ohio Department of Health supports a hybrid teleworking model. This position may work a hybrid schedule at the discretion of the manager or supervisor, which will require occasional attendance in the office for training, meetings and other operational needs. Employees must reside within a reasonable distance to their assigned headquarters for compliance with workplace reporting requirements.
The Office of Grants and Resource Development is seeking a College Intern to assist with data collection and review related to grant activities at ODH. Additional duties may include:
- Capture the number of grants ODH applied for, was eligible for, and was awarded during a given timespan.
- Track letters of support activity in the agency
- Create a tracking mechanism for the amount of time it takes to have letters of support approved and signed.
- Track time to revise and number of revisions needed.
- Differentiate between letters of support and letters of commitment, MOUs, etc.
- Which areas were referred in letters of support
- Develop an annual regional training scheduling in conjunction with other offices.
