Job Overview
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced financial professional to supervise our Revenue Management Unit. As the Revenue Management Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Standard supervisory activities (establish unit goals, assign work, provide direction, monitor and evaluate performance, recommend discipline, recommend applicants to hire, approve/deny leave requests, conduct staff meetings, etc.).
- Establishes work procedures and provides guidance and training to fiscal staff.
- Oversee the review and approval of deposits, modifications, and other transactions for Revenue received for various Medicaid programs, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
- Assist in the approval of Revenue Management activities with Providers, Treasurer of State, Lockbox accounts, and miscellaneous financial activities, and to oversee financial issue resolution, and authorize appropriate action.
- Assist as a backup to the Billing Unit’s Financial Analyst Supervisor.
54 mos. exp. or 54 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or 12 mos. exp. as Senior Financial Analyst, 66563.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
