What You Will Do…
- Acts as assistant to the Park Manager overseeing all park operations in their absence
- Assists with implementation, prioritizing expenditures and tracking of the fiscal operating budget
- Supervise and provide training opportunities to personnel both permanent and seasonal/intermittent positions
- Assist in ODNR’s mission to provide exceptional outdoor recreation and boating opportunities by balancing customer service, education, protection and conservation of Ohio's state parks and waterways
- Works with local communities, schools, and other organizations to develop partnerships and promote park programs, events, and activities
- Starting hourly pay of $25.76/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 4 years of service, with an end salary of $31.91/hr.
- Or completion of associate core program in natural resources management, parks & recreation management, facility management, hospitality management, business or public administration; 6 mos. trg. or exp. in supervisory &/or management principles/techniques; valid driver’s license.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
