What you will do…
- Operate combination of heaviest types of motorized construction equipment for canal construction & maintenance projects
- Provide disaster assistance (e.g., fires, flooding, wind damage)
- Perform routine maintenance & repairs on heavy equipment & semi tractor trailer
- Maintain & complete accurate & concise maintenance records, project logs & reports
- Operate/maintain, repair hydraulic control structures and dam related monitoring tools
- Perform operations, maintenance and inspections to specialized aquatic specie barriers throughout the basin
- Position requires a Class A CDL, no restrictions
- Starting hourly pay of $21.63/hr. with multiple pay increases over first 4.5 years of service, with an end salary of $24.66/hr.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
