What You Will Do…
Ability to interact with the public; willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather; proficiency at identifying sport fish; knowledge of boat operations; interest in fishing, conservation, or fisheries management; may need to provide a vehicle able to tow a small boat. All persons hired as a creel clerk will be required to complete a watercraft operator’s proficiency examination approved by the Ohio Division of Parks and Watercraft or show proof of having already completed either a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators boating course, or a proficiency examination approved by the Ohio Division of Parks and Watercraft.

This is a maximum duration, 1000 hour intermittent (unclassified) position for the Division of Wildlife. The open locations for the eight positions are:
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary; valid driver’s license; valid Commercial Driver’s License required if motor equipment is of type & size regulated by Section 4506.01 & 4506.12 of Ohio Revised Code.

What You Will Do…
- Collect biological and human dimensions data via angler interviews
- Enter data using computers
- Operate boats and motors
- Hourly pay of $18.63/hr.

- Approximately 20 to 40 hours/week depending on the location; this includes two weekend days/week

- Natural Resources Technician 1 (1 position): Lake Loramie (Auglaize and Shelby Counties)
