The Ohio Department of Transportation, District 2, is accepting applications for Summer Laborers for the following counties/departments: Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, and Williams counties, Bridge dept and Northwood outpost. There are multiple positions. Your application will be considered for all positions.
What You Will Do
- Flag/traffic control for highway maintenance
- Drive pickup truck to set out/pick up signs & follow mowing crew
- Roadside litter pickup, clean &/or wash vehicles & equipment
- Clean/hose down garage areas
- Use weed eater to trim around buildings, fences, etc.
- Help clean up roadsides when work crews are cutting brush/tree trimming
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
