What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Track Coach position at Ohio Dominican University?
Position Summary:
The Assistant Track coach will assist the head coach in the planning and operation of a NCAA Division II program.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting and assisting the Head Coach with the operation and management of the track program including but not limited to:
- Recruiting, practice & game management, eligibility, team performance (on the track, in the classroom, in the weight room & in the community), student-athlete welfare, assisting with the management and administration of summer camps, fundraising, and promoting Ohio Dominican Athletics as an integral part of the University.
- Committed to and be compliant with NCAA, G-MAC and ODU rules and regulations.
- Other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in sports administration, management, business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Two to three years of experience in coaching and/or playing in the respective sport, ideally at the intercollegiate Division II level.
