ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regular oil changes, brake replacements, and hydraulic hose repairs will be performed as part of routine maintenance. You will approach each maintenance task with passion, ensuring that every piece of equipment is safe, reliable, and performs optimally.

  • Perform regular safety inspections of material handling equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and operational requirements. You’ll also test safety equipment for functionality and make necessary adjustments. Your focus on safety is part of sustaining our future, protecting both company resources and the people who use the equipment.

  • Maintain accurate parts inventory and repair records for all equipment. You’ll order parts when necessary and ensure the workshop is stocked with the materials needed for repairs. By managing inventory carefully, you help sustain our future by ensuring the company operates efficiently and cost-effectively.

  • Keep the service area clean and organized to enhance efficiency and safety. Properly store tools, parts, and supplies to maintain a safe and productive work environment. The tidiness of your workspace fosters an atmosphere of transforming ourselves through better organization and smoother workflows.

  • Communicate clearly with onsite personnel about equipment conditions, maintenance schedules, and any issues that need attention. Open communication builds mutual trust and helps care to earn trust, ensuring that all team members are aligned in keeping the operation running smoothly.

  • Rebuild and repair hydraulic systems, including hoses, pumps, cylinders, and valves. Rebuild and reassemble forklift parts and components to restore functionality. Your ability to handle these tasks with skill and passion directly impacts our ability to make it right and ship when promised.
