Your Role Includes:
- Machine Operations: Efficiently operate and scrutinize manufacturing machinery to ensure compliance with job traveler instructions.
- Data Management: Utilize the EPICOR ERP system to document and manage material utilization and process requirements meticulously.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring products meet required standards during initial and final inspection phases.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Stringently follow all established Ohio Gratings safety protocols.
- Up-skilling Opportunities: Participate in identified areas for growth through cross-functional training, which may involve learning new techniques in welding or material handling.
- Technical Skill Application: Interpret blueprints effectively to execute manufacturing tasks precisely.
- Physical Capability: Handle physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing, sometimes in challenging environmental conditions.
- Workplace Standard: Maintain operational efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing setup, keeping work areas orderly and clean.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers and supervisors, particularly during shift transitions.

Background, Experience, and Skills:
- Education: Completion of High School or equivalent education is essential.
- Industry Experience: A background in manufacturing, especially in steel or aluminum production (at least 2 years), is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Skilled in the safe management of overhead cranes, forklifts, and assorted tools. Competence in basic mathematics and measurement conversion is required.
