The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for accepting, inspecting, unloading, and storing raw and finished goods materials, ensuring all deliveries are accurately processed in the ERP system. They will work closely with the Purchasing and Accounting teams to resolve discrepancies. This position requires maintaining an organized receiving area, working independently in a fast-paced environment, and adhering to safety protocols. The coordinator will mentor and train other receiving associates, create and drive best practices, prioritize team workloads to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive, inspect, and unload deliveries of supplies and raw materials. Ensure all receiving transactions are accurately processed and documented.

Use the ERP system to track inventory, update quantities, and ensure accurate documentation of all materials received.

Ensure that all goods are properly stored in designated areas and maintain a clean, organized receiving area.

Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.

Assist with periodic cycle counts.

Operate industrial lift truck and crane hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

Must be able to use hand and power tools safely.

Comply with all operating procedures, instructions, and safety rules.

Communicate effectively with and work well with others, including during shift changes.

Work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety and drug-free workplace policies.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred qualifications: at least 3 years of experience in material handling or receiving.

Proficiency with inventory management systems and ERP software.

Strong data entry and computer skills.

Ability to read and understand standard and metric measures, perform basic arithmetic, and write clear notes or memos.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly perform repetitive movement tasks, including standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and grasping.
