Duties

- Handle medical collections, including processing payments and following up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix, or Athenahealth.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while answering calls, addressing patient inquiries, and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Provide bilingual support to patients as needed, enhancing accessibility and understanding.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical scheduling and collections processes.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix, Athenahealth) is highly desirable.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
