JOB SUMMARY :
At Ohio CAT, we are looking to add to our team in Field Service! As an Ohio CAT Field Technician you will troubleshoot, test, diagnose, and repair primarily power generation equipment, from a company service truck, in the field. The emphasis of this position will be Caterpillar engines, air compressors, switchgear, and generator ends. In a Field Technician position at Ohio CAT, you will have the satisfaction of keeping our customers working, and contributing to building the world around you!
REQUIREMENTS :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College and / or continued education in a technical field are a plus.
- Experience with electrical power generator service and repair is required, from 5kw up to 2mg, preferably with Caterpillar equipment.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Ohio CAT standards
- Strong technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience with power generation equipment required, and strong DC electrical and machine electronic system knowledge is crucial
- Must have the ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures as necessary to complete repairs and manufacturers' updates, as required
