Job Summary
As an experienced Technician at Ohio Peterbilt, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing failures and recommending effective repair solutions. You'll perform repairs precisely and efficiently, adhering to dealership and factory standards. Under the supervision of the Service Supervisor, you'll work primarily on Peterbilt vehicles, receiving assignments from the Service Writer / Advisor. You'll also interact with dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives, and customers and have the opportunity to mentor less-experienced technicians. Staying informed about and complying with federal, state, and local regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and DOT guidelines, is crucial. Prioritize safety in all shop and vehicle activities, report any safety issues immediately, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. If anything changes in the appearance or condition of a vehicle, report it to department management immediately.
