Under the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant aids in planning, organizing, and directing Physical Therapy Services by current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:
- Assists in planning, organizing, and directing Physical Therapy Services by current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Meets with the administration, medical, and nursing staff, as well as other related departments in planning therapy services.
- Develops and maintains physical therapy standards.
Physical Therapy Assistant Job Qualifications:
- Associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).
- Healthcare experience preferred.
