What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Associate position at Ohio Pickling & Processing?
Ohio Pickling & Processing (OPP) is currently hiring for our Shipping/Receiving Department.
Applicants must be willing and able to work overtime for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents, such as receivers
- Have ability to read bill of lading
- Record incoming shipment data, such as weight or damages
- Ability to use heavy equipment- Safely load & unload trucks.
- Audit loads
- Able to build and mark up loads for trucks
- Ability to use computer system to update orders
- Forklift
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, to four decimal points. Multiply and divide with whole numbers.
- Basic computer data entry skills
- Previous forklift experience required
- Self-motivated, good communication skills and problem solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
