Reporting to: Controller
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all vendor invoices and payments.
- Work with Controller on weekly check runs to ensure timely processing of vendor payments, taking advantage of discount opportunities.
- Monitor company card expenditures and manage payments on credit accounts.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account analyses to verify payment accuracy.
- Process ad-hoc check requests and expense reports following proper approval procedures.
- Address and resolve vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
- PO system monitoring and implementation
- Manage vendor accounts, ensuring collection of W9, BWC, and COI forms from new vendors.
- Monitor and respond to email correspondence in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proper understanding of general ledger accounting as it pertains to invoice coding.
- Some knowledge of accounting for inventory preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct or similar.
- Familiar with 1099 reporting as it pertains to vendor setup and invoice entry.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines, with strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently and on time.
Education/ Training Requirements
· Two years of related experience and/or training.
· Associates degree or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
