What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Research Assistant (HS) position at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center?
To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies within the Department of Internal Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine; assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance amp; reporting of clinical research data.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelors Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.
Skills or Experience Desired
Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

This is a patient facing position and is required to be onsite at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Travel to other outpatient clinics may be required. Locations may include but are not limited to Dublin, New Albany, and Upper Arlington.
Some evening hours may be required.
