Job Description
As member of the OSUWMC IT Portfolio Management Office, the Program Manager serves as a leader of interdisciplinary programs on an enterprise level. The Program Manager works with executive management across the health system and determines how technology can assist in addressing the needs of the enterprise; then translates these needs into system requirements and design specifications. The Program Manager understands how to leverage the integration of applications and technology for competitive advantage and coordinates dynamic teams of individuals who meet business objectives, schedules, and outcomes. The Program Manager also serves as a mentor within the team and support other duties including, on-boarding of new staff, monitoring project quality and recommending professional development.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Required: 6 years of direct project management and leadership responsibilities for major, cross-functional IT projects. Experience in formal project leadership with various project lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc). Proficiency in use of PM scheduling tools. Superior team development/coaching skills.
