What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow position at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center?
The Speech-Language Pathologist is the member of OSUWMC with the goal of improving peoples lives through innovation in research, education and patient care. The team members report to the rehabilitation manager as part of Acute Rehabilitation program structure.
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is specialized in the assessment and treatment of various speech, language, cognition and swallowing disorders and contributes to current evidence-based practice research in the field.
Minimum Qualifications
- Application requirements: Individual Cover Letter, Resume, and at least 2 letters of recommendation.
- For Hire: All SLP Fellows must hold current conditional licensure with the State of Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Board.
- For Hire: A Masters degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Ongoing: Maintains professional licensure; demonstrates commitment to continuing education; meets mandatory educational and health requirements, demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
