Position Overview
The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism in the Department of Internal Medicine is actively recruiting an endocrinologist with interest or and / or expertise in thyroid disorders to join our exciting practice. This is an academic position on the clinical track that emphasizes patient care for patients with thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and other thyroid disorders; instructs medical students, residents, and fellows; and other scholarly activities such as quality improvement activities and clinical research.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is an academic position on the clinical track that emphasizes patient care to endocrine patients with a focus on thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer; instructs medical students, residents, and fellows; and basic or clinical research. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspirations, e-consults, and inpatient consults.
Requirements
Candidates must have an MD or DO, Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, and qualify for academic appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
