Ohio Truck Equipment, a division of Robertson Truck Sales which is a family owned and operated business since 1984 specializing in industry specific techniques in the up fitting of medium and heavy duty trucks is currently searching for a Utility Maintenance Technician to join the Team! Ohio Truck Equipment has the capability to fabricate and assemble trucks to facilitate up fitting of our vast product line for virtually any industry.
Position Title: Utility Maintenance Technician
Location: Mount Vernon, OH 43050
Schedule: Full Time – Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities:
Perform service and repairs on furnace system, overhead cranes, steam cleaner, shop welders, iron workers, metal cutting saws, air compressor and other misc items
Basic building maintenance such as changing light bulbs, light switches, etc
Work with vendors to get supplies and parts quickly and cost effectively
Schedule service and maintenance on shop forklifts, manlifts, pickup truck, rollback and other fleet vehicles
Operate drive shaft machine, Shorten, lengthen and build new driveshafts, running lathe, press and balancer
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician
Must have a valid driver license
High school diploma or equivalent
Possess a positive work attitude and willingness to work with fellow team members
Must be detail oriented
Ability to use manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, 100 pounds assisted
Possess a commitment to safety and company safety policies
Understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
