What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Lot Attendant position at Ohio Truck Sales?
The Lot Attendant plays a key role in maintaining the appearance, organization, and operational readiness of our truck sales lot. This position is responsible for ensuring all trucks are clean, properly parked, and regularly inspected. Duties include starting and test-driving trucks on a weekly basis, identifying and documenting any maintenance or repair needs, and supporting the overall presentation and functionality of the lot.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sales lot
- Perform weekly inspections on all trucks, including starting, driving, documenting and reporting any maintenance issues that need taken care of to meet quality standards.
- Ensure all trucks are parked neatly and aligned properly
- Refuel vehicles as needed
- Jump-start trucks when necessary
- Remove snow and ice from vehicles and lot areas
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs and upkeep
Required Education, Skills & Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to drive trucks with manual transmission
- Class B CDL
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Work in all weather conditions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
