Description
Engineer I
Perform assignments requiring the application of engineering knowledge in such activities as planning, design, research, development, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, project management and operation at assigned location.
Engineer II
Engage in tests for obtaining, compiling, calculating and analyzing technical data for the control and improvement of equipment efficiency. Engage in testing, maintenance, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Participate in the planning, budgeting, and coordination of activities. Assist in studies and investigations into departmental engineering problems and assist in making recommendations for viable solutions.
Engineer III
Perform advanced engineering assignments; conduct tests and make recommendations in connection with departmental engineering issues. Guide the planning, budgeting, and coordination of activities. Participate in reliability studies and processes; investigate, analyze and provide solutions regarding critical equipment. Work with limited supervision and lead teams to achieve specified goals.
Engineer IV Engage in studies and investigations into departmental engineering problems and make recommendations concerning solutions. Assume supervisory responsibilities as assigned. Direct and / or oversee the planning, budgeting, and coordination of activities relative to the engineering needs.
