Our not-for-profit social service organization is seeking a Floor Technician to become a valuable member of our Goodwill team. If hired, you will become part our Janitorial team responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
The Janitorial Floor Technician will be responsible for performing janitorial floor work and cleaning assignments on a day-to-day basis according to the specifications stated or as deemed necessary by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School or GED preferred.
- 2-5 years of janitorial service experience including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, carpet cleaning and operating janitorial floor machinery required.
- Must be able to work independently after being given a directive. Must be a self- starter. Must know chemical and emergency procedures. Must be able to identify and maintain the various types of floors installed in industrial and office establishments.
- Must be able to identify and operate the typical janitorial commercial floor machines utilized in the cleaning of industrial and office establishments.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must pass initial drug testing.
Pay rate: $14.00 per hour. Work Schedule: Full-time- (Monday through Friday)
