Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, founded in 1916, is one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in the State of Ohio. Utilizing our retail store network, we generate sales revenue to support thousands of individuals with disabilities and homeless local veterans.

Position Summary:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
- Provide level 2 technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software problems
- Perform regular system backups and data recovery operations
- Maintain and update documentation of IT procedures and configurations
- Assist in the implementation of security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to plan and execute system upgrades and improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
Education: Associates degree or equivalent technical training program
Experience: 3 years’ experience supporting PC hardware, networking, server maintenance, remote access administration.
Knowledge:
- Intermediate understanding of network and system administration concepts
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Windows Server, MacOS.
- Knowledge of common IT tools and software (e.g., Active Directory, Office 365, Hyper-V, Jira Management Systems)
- Experience with firewalls, switching, and access points (Fortinet is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Provide technical support for all divisions of company – 35%
- Install new computer systems, application software and hardware – 5%
- Upgrade existing systems – 10%
- Monitor network; troubleshoot, diagnose, correct system problems – 50%
- Answer phones
- Other duties as assigned
Occasional Duties:
- Assist IT Systems Manager and act as backup when needed
