We are looking for a Security Guard who will protect people and property from possible criminal activity. Responsible for security of building and grounds. Guards property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Walking tours of main building and two warehouses at least three times per shift.Reports irregularities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Graduate/ Equivalent
EXPERIENCE: One Year experience as security guard preferred
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS:
Capable of assessing and acting upon irregularities
Willingness to be Frist Aid & CPR certified
Familiarity with surveillance systems
Data Entry/ Attention to Detail/ Organized

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Tours periodically of building and grounds, registering at clocks
- Examines doors, windows and gates to determine if they are secure
- Inspects equipment and machinery to see that they are turned off
- Reports irregularities – fire, hazards, leaks, unlocked doors etc
- Observe departing personnel to guard against theft
- Records all above data
- Other duties as assigned or deemed appropriate to a particular situation
- Standing, extensive walking, and sitting
- Overtime may be required
- Occasional lifting, carring, and pushing
- Work Schedule: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am (3rd Shift)
