What are the responsibilities and job description for the Removable Insulation Stuffer position at Ohio Valley Industrial Services?
Since 1981, family owned, and operated Ohio Valley Industrial Services has been about servicing Research and Power Generation with a variety of products. This ranges from i removable insulation covers, instrumentation, steam, and process system components.
Ohio Valley Industrial Services is looking for a full-time Removable Insulation Stuffer to lay out and stuff removable insulation covers . All work is done on site indoors. No prior experience required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
An excellent candidate would be a person that is willing to learn, the candidate would also have an eye for detail, work well independently with minimal supervision and at times work in a team environment. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not mandatory.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Prolonged standing, bending
- Lift 35 lbs.
- Stuffing and pinning insulation covers
- Cutting insulation materials
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Work daily with manufacturing insulation supplies
- Clearing and disposing of old insulation following safety guidelines
- Loading and unloading insulation materials as needed
- Using scissors safely for insulation preparation
- Following all company and industry safety regulations
- Performing other related duties as assigned
