The Produce Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the produce department within a retail environment. The Produce Manager is responsible for managing inventory, implementing merchandising strategies, and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the produce department, ensuring high standards of quality and freshness.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking produce items.
• Cut and package fresh produce.
• Lead and train team members in best practices for customer service, product handling, and safety protocols.
• Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the produce area to meet health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote seasonal items and special promotions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
