Job Summary : The Financial Analyst reports to the Manager of FP&A and is responsible for all program budgets, agency budgets and financial analysis for their designated regions. They will work closely with Regional leaders and some clinical staff on a consistent basis. Duties / Responsibilities :
- Collect, analyze, and manage statistical and financial data, resulting in the creation of meaningful reports for internal directors and cost center managers to lead them into business improvements and cost reductions.
- Report and analyze monthly financial results, uncovering core issues using data and provide explanations for variances and trends within assigned regions.
- Prepare / present on daily / weekly / monthly key financial metrics, for management, senior leadership and Board level.
- Coordinate and prepare the annual budget and forecast process, as well as create and maintain budget and forecast models with directors for select new and renewal programs.
- Prepare / support strategic financial modeling for existing programs and / or new programs. /
- Monitor expenditures against budget for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy of reported information, availability of funds and compliance, and prepare budget adjustment requests for various funders.
- Work with data providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
- Correspond and collaborate with other personnel and or outside agencies for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and / or programs in accordance with established financial policies, practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with the periodic program financial review and semi-annual program forecast process.
- Assist with audit work papers and works with financial auditors as needed.
- Prepare and deliver the annual Title IV-E cost Report by agreed upon deadline.
- Active involvement in the planning, organization, and implementation of special projects related to finance.
