The Medical Technologist Reg(ASCP) performs accurate, precise, and timely patient test results for diagnosis and management of human illness. Utilizing automation, computerization, and manual methods, they are responsible for quality control and instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position handles various bodily fluids, including blood, tissue, feces, sputum, urine, spinal fluid, and other substances that may be contaminated with infectious diseases such as HIV and other blood-borne pathogens.Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences (Required) and ASCP - American Society for Clinical Pathology certification. You should also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Additionally, experience in medical laboratory technology or a related field is highly desirable.
